The Government of Bihar on December 23, 2024, issued a draft notification regarding the revision of Minimum Wage Rates for Scheduled Employment in Bihar Effective from April 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The Bihar Government has announced revised minimum wage rates for workers in scheduled employment, aligning them with the general employment rates, effective from April 01, 2025.
•This includes various sectors such as Sales Promotion, Domestic Workers, Papad Industry, Sailors, Agarbatti Industry, and Safai Karamcharis.
• Two months have been set for submitting objections or suggestions regarding the draft notification. The revisions were made following consultations with the Bihar Minimum Wages Advisory Board.
