The Bharat BillPay, on December 20, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Corrigendum to Circular Intimation of Rebranding & Change in Logo of BBPS.
In partial modification of Circular NPCI/2024-25/BBPS/008/AD1 regarding the rebranding and logo change of BBPS, it is clarified that the terms "Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS)," "Bharat Bill Payment Central Unit (BBPCU)," and "Bharat Bill Payment Operating Unit (BBPOU)" shall continue to be used in all existing and future forms, agreements, and communications. These terms will not be replaced with "Bharat Connect," "Bharat Connect Central Unit," or "Bharat Connect Operating Unit."
