The Ministry of Civil Aviation, (MCA), on December 24, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Mandatory Licensing for Scheduled Air Transport Services at Diu Aerodrome Effective December 31, 2025.
Under the proviso to sub-rule (1) of rule 78 of the Aircraft Rules, 1937, has issued a directive superseding the notification dated November 20, 2023. It mandates that effective December 31, 2025, no scheduled air transport services to or from Diu Aerodrome shall operate without obtaining a license from the Director General of Civil Aviation, as stipulated in sub-rule (1) of rule 78 of the Aircraft Rules, 1937.
