EHS ComplianceThe Gujarat State Pollution Control Board, (GSPCB), on August 02, 2024, issued a notification regarding Mandatory CTE and CCA Permissions for Industries.

As per the Water Act, 1974, Air Act, 1981, and Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, industrial units categorized as 'Red,' 'Orange,' and 'Green' by the Central Pollution Control Board must secure prior 'Consent to Establish (CTE)' before setup and 'Consolidated Consents & Authorisation (CCA)' for operations from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB). Establishing or operating without these permissions is a punishable offence, leading to potential legal actions, including closure. Detailed procedural guidelines and application requirements are available on GPCB's website.
