The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on October 14, 2024, notified regarding the inclusion of a representative of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Consumer Affairs, in the Inter-Departmental Committee (IDC).
It states that in partial modification of the Order dated July 14, 2021, it has been decided by the Government of India, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, to include the Joint Secretary (Consumer Affairs), Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, as a member of the Inter-Departmental Committee.
