The Labour and Skills (H) Department, Kerala on December 20, 2024, issued a notification regarding the requirement of Aadhaar for Scheme Benefits and Enrollment.
The following has been stated: -
•The Kerala Government mandates Aadhaar for individuals and children to receive benefits under a specified scheme.
•Those without Aadhaar must enroll, with provisions for authentication using biometrics or OTPs. Alternative identity documents can be used if Aadhaar authentication fails. A register will be maintained for such cases, and no eligible child will be denied benefits.
