The Government of Kerala on December 23, 2024, issued a circular regarding the grant of uniform allowance to employees on vacant leave.
The following has been stated: -
•The Finance Department has issued instructions regarding the grant of uniform allowance to employees on vacant leave.
•Employees who continue in posts where uniforms are mandatory, even during leave, will be eligible for the allowance as per the pay revision orders.
•The allowance will be sanctioned at the same rate as specified in the pay revision order for the relevant financial year. This applies to employees who remain in the same post during their leave period.
