The Government of Andhra Pradesh on November 14, 2024, notified the Andhra Pradesh Data Center Policy (4.0) 2024-29.
The following has been stated: -
•The Andhra Pradesh Government has introduced the Data Center Policy (4.0) 2024-2029 to promote the data center industry, aiming for 200 MW of additional capacity and attracting advanced AI-enabled data centers. The policy aligns with the state's Industrial Development and Green Energy Policies.
•The Finance Department has advised land allotment for private entities to follow APLMA guidelines. This policy is valid for five years and may be amended during implementation.
•The incentives will be extended according to operational guidelines, with the IT and E&C Department overseeing its execution.
