The following has been stated: -
•The Andhra Pradesh Government has launched the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Policy (4.0) 2024-29 to foster industrial growth, attract investors, and create employment. The policy emphasizes sustainable growth, green energy, tech adoption, and a circular economy.
•New incentives, including capital subsidies and employment support, are introduced to encourage investment. The Finance Department has supported the policy, recommending a self-financing model for its implementation. The policy will be valid for five years, with potential extensions and modifications. It applies to both new and existing enterprises investing in expansion.
