The Government of Andhra Pradesh on October 10, 2024, issued the Andhra Pradesh Electronic Manufacturing Policy 4.0 (2024-29).
This Policy shall be valid for a period of 5 years from the date of the policy notification, or till a new Policy is announced, whichever is later.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh may extend the period of this Policy as and when required. The Policy shall be applicable to all the territories within the geographical boundaries of the state of Andhra Pradesh.
This policy shall be applicable to the following categories of enterprise(s) and investment(s);
o New and existing enterprises investing and establishing new units.
o Existing enterprises investing in expansion.
The vision of this policy is to establish Andhra Pradesh as the premier destination for the electronics industry by providing world-class infrastructure and a conducive policy environment, fostering innovation and emerging technologies, bringing the entire electronics value chain to the state, and creating large-scale employment opportunities. This vision aims to build a sustainable ecosystem that significantly contributes to the economic development of the state and the nation.
