The Government of Telangana on December 30, 2024, notified regarding the mandatory GST registration for persons supplying goods through Electronic Commerce Operators can be waived, subject to specified conditions.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the persons supplying goods through Electronic Commerce Operators (ECOs) with an aggregate turnover below the threshold for GST registration are exempted from mandatory registration under certain conditions.
• These include restrictions on inter-state supplies, declaration of PAN and business details on the GST portal, obtaining an enrolment number, and limiting one enrolment per state or union territory.
• This shall come into force with effect from October 01, 2023.
