The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on December 26, 2024, issued the date of establishment of amendment of certain Indian Standards (IS).
The amendment of the following IS have been established on December 24, 2024 namely: -
• IS 1652 : 2013 Stationary Cells and Batteries, Lead-Acid Type with Plante Positive Plates — Specification (Fourth Revision) – Amendment No. 1 December 2024
• IS 3589 : 2001 Steel Pipes for Water and Sewage ( 168.3 to 2 540 mm Outside Diameter) — Specification (Third Revision) – Amendment No. 7 December 2024
• IS 13730 (Part 20) : 2018 IEC 60317-20 : 2013 Specifications for Particular Types of Winding Wires Part 20 Solderable Polyurethane Enamelled Round Copper Wire, Class 155 (Second Revision) – Amendment No. 1 December 2024
• IS 15748 : 2022 ISO 11612 : 2015 Protective Clothing — Clothing to Protect Against Heat and Flame — Minimum Performance Requirements (First Revision) – Amendment No. 3 December 2024
The standards shall remain in force without the amendment till June 23, 2025
