The Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission (MSERC) on December 20, 2024, issued the Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Fees and Charges) (1st Amendment) (2 of 2024) Regulations, 2017, to further amend the Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Fees and Charges) Regulations, 2017.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This shall come into force with effect from December 01, 2024.
• These regulations shall extend to the whole state of Meghalaya.
• Schedule 1 (Fees and Charges) has been amended.
• Regulation 5 (1) shall be amended as “All existing/deemed licensees shall pay the annual fee as specified in Schedule 1”.
