The Government of Rajasthan on December 31, 2024, issued a notification regarding the declaration of a Holiday for Urban Body By-Elections
The following has been stated: -
•The Governor of Rajasthan has declared a holiday on January 09, 2025, for offices in the polling areas for the urban body by-elections, as per the Negotiable Instruments Act, of 1881.
•If re-polling is required, a holiday will be observed in the constituency on the re-poll day to facilitate voter participation. This follows the State Election Commission's election program and notifications dated December 19 and 26, 2024.
