The Government of Rajasthan on January 02, 2025, issued draft Rajasthan Motor Vehicles (Third Draft Amendment) Rules, 2024 to amend the Rajasthan Motor Vehicles Rules, 1990.
The following has been stated: -
•In rule 2.1 for the existing punctuation mark “.”, appearing at the end, the punctuation mark “:” shall be substituted and the following proviso shall be added, namely:-
Provided that in case where an application for services specified by the State Government, from time to time, in relation to Driving Licence is received and distributed electronically by the faceless management system, the authority specified above to whom such system assigns application shall be the Licensing Authority for that purpose.
Any objection or suggestion can be submitted within fifteen days from January 02, 2024.
