The Labour Department, Tripura on December 12, 2024, notified regarding the revised minimum wage rates in respect of workers employed in certain industries.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Variable Dearness Allowances are revised with effective from October 01, 2024, as follows in relation to the employees/workers employed in Shops and establishments and Agriculture, auto-rickshaw, beedi industry, construction or maintenance of roads or in-building operation, cooperative stores and societies, goldsmith, hotel and restaurant, incense sticks, mechanical workshops, petrol pumps, private security guards, private teaching institutions, public motor transport, rubber plantation, safai karamchari, stone breaking, loading, and unloading.
• It includes provisions for overtime pay and classifications of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled labor.
