The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on December 31, 2024, issued a notification to amend Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated August 03, 2001, related to the Tariff Value of Edible Oils, Brass Scrap, Areca Nut, Gold and Silver.
The following has been stated namely:-
• Table 1 specifies the tariff value of the palm oils.
• Table 2 specifies the tariff value of Gold and Silver.
• Table 3 specifies the tariff value of Areca nuts.
This notification shall come into force with effect from January 01, 2025.
