The Government of Kerala on January 03, 2025, issued the notification regarding the E-Way Bill Now Mandatory for Transportation of Goods.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The e-Way Bill is mandatory for the transportation of gold and other precious stones valued at ₹10 lakh or above within Kerala from January 01, 2025. 

• This applies to both supply and non-supply scenarios, such as exhibitions, job work, hallmarking, or purchases from unregistered individuals. 

• Registered persons or entities must generate Part-A of the e-Way Bill prior to the movement of goods.
