The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoL&E) on January 03, 2025, notified regarding the Centralized Pension Payments System fully rolled out in all regional offices of EPFO across India.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that EPFO's Centralized Pension Payments System (CPPS) launched nationwide in December 2024, streamlining pension disbursement for over 68 lakh pensioners with enhanced accessibility and efficiency.
• It further states that the CPPS revolutionizes EPFO pension disbursement by enabling seamless, location-independent payments without physical verification or PPO transfers, simplifying pensioners' lives.
