The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on January 03, 2025, issued the Criteria for approval of, Chief Flight Instructor, Designated Examiner Deputy Chief Flight Instructor, Chief Ground Instructor and Non Flying CFI for Flying Training Organizations.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This has been issued in order to standardize the flying training activities in the flying training organizations (FTO) engaged in flying training (Aero plane/helicopter) for grant of pilots’ Licenses.
• The General Requirements are stated in the notification
• The Procedure for approval of CFI/Dy. CFI / Non Flying CFI / DE has been stated in the notification.
