Industry Specific ComplianceThe Shimla Municipal Corporation on January 03, 2025, notified Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Bye-laws – 2024 for Shimla Municipal Corporation.

The following has been stated: -

•Rule 2 specifies various definitions of the terms like Seasonal market and Stationery vendor.

•Rule 3 specifies Regulation and Manner of Vending in different Vending Zones.

•Rule 4 specifies Restrictions on street vendors.

It shall come into force on January 07, 2025.
