The Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) on December 12, 2024, issued a notification regarding the revision of Consent Management Categories for Restaurants and Event Venues.
The following has been stated: -
•The HSPCB has updated the category for restaurants, motels, and event venues under consent management. The new classification includes establishments with a minimum seating capacity of 36 or a floor area of 100 m², generating less than 10 KLD wastewater.
•Additionally, affected units must install effluent treatment plants (ETP) to treat and reuse wastewater, complying with EP rules. The changes are effective immediately.
