EHS Compliance The Punjab Pollution Control Board, (PPCB) on January 03, 2025, issued a notification regarding the SOPs for Reward Scheme on Illegal Kite Material in Punjab.

Punjab has introduced SOPs for a reward scheme encouraging citizens to report individuals involved in manufacturing, selling, storing, supplying, or importing kite strings made of nylon, plastic, or synthetic materials (e.g., "Chinese dor/manjha").
