The Government of Kerala on January 08, 2025, issued the Kerala Micro Small Medium Enterprises and Other Enterprises Facilitation (Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Kerala Micro Small Medium Enterprises and Other Enterprises Facilitation Rules, 2020.
The following amendments have been stated:
In the Kerala Micro Small Medium Enterprises and Other Enterprises Facilitation Rules, 2020,—
• wherever the words “acknowledgment certificate” occurs the words and symbol, “Certificate of in principal approval” shall be substituted according to its context.
• after clause (c) of sub-rule (1) of rule 2, the following clause shall be inserted, namely:—
“(d) “project cost” shall include the value of land, building, plant and machinery, miscellaneous articles, contingent expenses, commencement or post-operative expenses, and marginal money for working capital of the project”.
• in rule 5, for the words “three years” the words “three years and six months” shall be substituted.
• in form II in serial number 2, in item (b) for the words “three years” “three years and six months” shall be substituted.
They shall come into force at once.
