The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) on January 06, 2025, notified Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Authorizing Entities to Lay, Build, Operate or Expand City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Amendment Regulations, 2024 to amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Authorizing Entities to Lay, Build, Operate or Expand City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulations, 2008.
The following has been stated: -
•In regulation 2, in sub-regulation (1), in clause (i), the words “or cascades or any other permitted mode” shall be omitted.
They shall come into force after seven days from January 08, 2025.
