The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on January 08, 2025, issued a notification regarding amendments to its Bye-Laws.
The following has been stated: -
•CDSL has amended its Bye-Laws regarding the constitution of Statutory Committees and their Terms of Reference. The existing Bye-Laws 3.1, 3.3, and 3.4 have been deleted, and a new Bye-Law (3.1) has been inserted, requiring committees to be constituted by the Board per SEBI regulations and relevant Acts.
•The Board, SEBI, or applicable laws will determine the terms of reference. These amendments are effective immediately.
