Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on January 09, 2025, issued the guidelines in pursuance of amendment to SEBI KYC (Know Your Client) Registration Agency (KRA) Regulations, 2011.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that clients with unvalidated KYC (On Hold) from December 01, 2024, to December 31, 2024, shall not be allowed to trade or square off open positions starting January 27, 2025, until validation is complete. Such open positions shall naturally expire on the expiry date of the respective contract.

• It further states that all subsequently KRA-compliant PAN shall be allowed to trade on T+1 based on KRA information received on T day.
