Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Karnataka on January 08, 2025, notified the Karnataka Excise (Bottling of Liquor) (Amendment) Rules, 2025 to further amend the Karnataka Excise (Bottling of Liquor) Rules, 1967.

The following has been stated-

•In Rule 15 of the Karnataka Excise (Bottling of Liquor) Rules,1967, in sub rule (3) after clause (g), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- “(h) in case of Beer, the minimum percentage of Malt and Sugar by weight shall be displayed in the ingredients”

They shall come into force with effect from January 20, 2025.
