The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on January 10, 2025, issued a notification regarding the extension of the Deadline for GSTR-8 Submission for December 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•The Commissioner, under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, has extended the deadline for submitting FORM GSTR-8, which contains details of outward supplies through e-commerce operators, for December 2024.
•The new deadline is January 12, 2025.
•This extension is granted based on the recommendations of the GST Council. The time extension applies to the statement required under section 52(4) of the Act and rule 67 of the GST Rules.
