The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on January 09, 2024, issued the date of establishment and withdrawal of certain Indian Standards (IS).
The following IS have been established on December 31, 2024 namely: -
• IS 1598 : 2024 Izod Impact Test of Metals — Method of Test (Second Revision)
• IS 3029 : 2024 Castorseed Cake for Fertilizer Purposes — Specification (First Revision)
• IS 18907 : 2024 Micro-Focal Radiography for Industrial Components — Recommended Practices
• IS 19080 : 2024 ISO 31031 : 2024 Managing Risk for Youth and School Trips
The following IS has been withdrawn on June 30, 2025 namely: -
• IS 1598 – 1977 Method for Izod Impact Test of Metals (First Revision)
• IS 3029 – 1964 Specification for Castorseed Cake for Fertilizer Purposes
• IS 12337 – 1988 Specification for Manually Operated Fertilizer Broadcaster
• IS 16677 : 2017 Quality Management — Customer Satisfaction — Requirements for Complaint Handling in Organization
