The Jal Shakti Department, Himachal Pradesh on January 07, 2025, issued the amendments to the Rules of Enlistment of Contractors in Jal Shakti Vibhag, 2013.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Rule 4 which states the Applicability, sub-rule 4.4 shall be substituted with "A contractor is not permitted to have enlistment in more than one name. However, in case of a company/firm, a Director/Partner can be permitted to get enlisted as an individual subject to the condition that firm issues NOC to the individual and he shall not be allowed to participate in the tender where present firm is participating.
• Rule 12 which states the Enlistment fees, in column 8 of Table - 1 annexed at Rule 12 shall be amended, it states that the contractor shall have to pay a non-refundable enlistment fee through online mode/challan.
• Rule 19 which states the Application for Revalidation, sub-rule 19.1.2 shall be amended, it states that in case where the application is received after due date of expiry of enlistment/ revalidation but within one year, application can be accepted with late fees.
