Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Karnataka on January 10, 2025, notified the Karnataka Tourism Ropeways Act, 2024.

The following has been stated: -

•Section 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Local authority and Circle.

•Section 3 specifies the Power of the State Government to constitute an Advisory Authority for ropeways.

•Section 4 specifies Licensing Authority.

It shall come into force on January 10, 2025.
