Labour Compliance The Government of Karnataka on January 10, 2025, issued the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2024 to further amend the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965.

The following amendments have been stated:

• In section 7A which states Contribution, in sub-section (2), for the words “twenty rupees, forty rupees and twenty rupees”, the words, “fifty rupees, one hundred rupees and fifty rupees” shall respectively be substituted.

It shall come into force at once.
