The Government of Madhya Pradesh on January 08, 2025, notified regarding the Voluntary Aadhaar Authentication by the Madhya Pradesh Revenue Department for Land Records and Related Services.
It states that the Government of Madhya Pradesh, with authorization from the Central Government under the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits, and Services) Act, 2016 and Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020, notifies the Revenue Department's portals to voluntarily use Aadhaar authentication (Yes/No or e-KYC) for verifying residents' identities. This enables access to services related to land records, court proceedings, Agristack, and payment of dues.
