The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on January 13, 2025, issued a press release cautioning the public about phishing attempts impersonating IFSCA employees.
It has come to the attention of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) that a series of phishing attempts have been made that involve fraudulent emails impersonating its senior management. These emails, which appear to originate from IFSCA employees, are being sent from addresses that do not belong to the organisation.
The IFSCA emphasises that all official communications with regulated entities only occur through email addresses with the email domain @ifsca.gov.in. Any correspondence claiming to be from IFSCA employees using different domain names should be treated as suspicious and ignored.
