EHS Compliance The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on January 13, 2025, issued draft Explosives (Amendment) Rules, 2024 to amend the Explosives Rules, 2008.

The following has been stated: -

•In rule 106, the sub-rule (3) shall be omitted.

•In rule 112, in sub-rule (1) the word “five” shall be replaced with the word “ten”.

•In rule 112, in sub-rule (8) the word “five” shall be replaced with the word “ten”.

The objections or suggestions shall be considered for thirty (30) days from January 14, 2025.
