The Government of Karnataka on January 13, 2025, issued a notification regarding the extension of the GSTR-7 Filing Due Date for December 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•The Commissioner of Karnataka GST has extended the deadline for filing GSTR-7, the return for tax deduction at source, for December 2024 until January 12, 2025.
•This extension is in accordance with the provisions of the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and the recommendations of the GST Council. The notice applies to registered persons required to deduct tax at source.
