The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoC&I) on January 14, 2025, issued the Draft Ammonium Nitrate (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Ammonium Nitrate Rules 2012.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In rule 32 which states the Period of validity of license, the word “five” shall be replaced with the word “ten”.
• In rule 36 which states the Renewal of license, in sub-rule (1), the word “five” shall be replaced with the word “ten”.
