The Government of Uttar Pradesh on January 03, 2025, issued a notification regarding the variable dearness allowance to all the workers working in vacuum pan sugar mills of Uttar Pradesh state.
As per Government Notification No. 1305/36-2-2022-8/2004-TC dated June 29, 2022, workers in vacuum pan sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh are entitled to a variable dearness allowance (VDA) based on the average of the All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the months of August, September, and October 2024.
The CPI values for those months are:
• August 2024: 9374.29
• September 2024: 9420.29
• October 2024: 9499.22
The average CPI for these months is 9431.00 points. Therefore, a VDA based on this value will be applicable to all workers in vacuum pan sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh from January 01, 2025, to March 31, 2025.
