Finance & Taxation Compliance The Government of Karnataka on January 13, 2025, issued a notification regarding the extension of the GSTR-5 Filing Due Date for December 2024.

The following has been stated: -

•The Karnataka GST Commissioner has extended the deadline for non-resident taxable persons to file GSTR-5 for December 2024. The new deadline is January 15, 2025.

•This extension is granted under section 39(6) and section 168 of the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The extension applies to returns due for December 2024.
