The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) on January 10, 2025, issued the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Power Quality) Regulations, 2025
The following has been stated namely: -
• Regulations shall extend to the State of Madhya Pradesh.
• The objective of these Regulations is to ensure the monitoring and maintenance of Power Quality parameters as prescribed by the CEA Regulations
• The key parameters have been covered including supply voltage variation, voltage unbalance, flickers, voltage sags/dips, swells, and harmonics, both on the supply side and at consumer installations.
This shall come into force on January 10, 2025.
