The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) on January 01, 2025, issued a circular regarding the submission of Form "8" as mandated under "Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006" through the online SWC Portal of MIDC.
The following has been stated: -
•The circular outlines the process for renewing fire approval under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006, for MIDC buildings. Plot holders must submit Form 'B' online, along with mandatory documents like a cover letter, fire system details, AMC/CMAC orders, testing reports, and valid license copies.
•Previous manual approval holders must first renew their final fire NOC online to access the new system. The online submission window opens twice a year, from January 01 to March 31, and July 01 to September 30.
•The process aims to save time and improve efficiency for plot holders.
