Finance & Taxation Compliance The Department of Transport, Punjab on January 10, 2025, notified regarding the amendment in the older notification no. 2/16/2007-1T2/10063 dated November 22, 2007, and No. 3/2/2011- 2T2/1475 dated August 31, 2012, related to the rate of motor vehicle tax.

It states that the motor vehicle tax rates per seat per annum for tourist buses in Punjab are revised as: Ordinary Bus – Rs. 2050, Deluxe (Non-AC) – Rs. 2650, Deluxe (AC) – Rs. 4150, and Integral/Super Integral Coach – Rs. 5000.
