The Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (CSERC) on December 28, 2024, issued the Draft Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Intra-State Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2025.
These Regulations shall apply within the geographical area of the State of Chhattisgarh and shall apply to all Inter/Intra-State Entities connected with STU in Chhattisgarh in a manner as specified in these Regulations.
The objective of these regulations is to ensure, through a commercial mechanism that users of the grid do not deviate from and adhere to their schedule of drawl and injection of electricity in the interest of security and stability of the grid.
These Regulations shall be effective from April 01, 2025.
The commission is seeking Objections/suggestions from stakeholders on Draft CSERC (Intra-State Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2025 by January 18, 2025. The date of the public hearing for the same will be intimated separately.
