The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution (MoCAF&PD) on January 15, 2025, issued the Draft Legal Metrology (Indian Standard Time) Rules, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Chapter II outlines the Indian Standard Time (IST).
• Chapter III outlines the provisions for mandatory use of Indian Standard Time (IST).
• Chapter IV outlines the exception to the use of Indian Standard Time (IST).
Stakeholders shall send their comments on the draft rules by February 14, 2025, via email at [email protected], [email protected], [email protected].
