The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on January 17, 2025, issued a circular regarding the commencement of Futures Trading in Crude Oil July 2025 and Crude Oil Mini July 2025 Contracts.
The following has been stated: -
•Crude Oil July 2025 and Crude Oil Mini July 2025 Futures contracts will be available for trading from January 20, 2025, with an expiry date of July 21, 2025.
•The contract specifications and trading parameters are outlined in circular no. MCX/TRD/479/2024, issued on July 19, 2024. These specifications are binding for all Exchange members and their constituents.
•Members should refer to the latest circulars from Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCXCCL) for applicable margins. The expiry month for both contracts is July 2025.
