The Department of Co-operation, Marketing and Textiles, Maharashtra on January 17, 2025, notified regarding implementing the Maharashtra Technical Textiles Campaign in the State.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It aims to establish Maharashtra as a global hub for technical textiles by fostering innovation, developing skilled manpower, promoting R&D, enhancing market access, enabling industry-academia collaboration, ensuring quality standards, and driving sustainability
• It focuses on R&D, infrastructure, skill development, market promotion, industry-academia collaboration, quality standards, and sustainability to position the state as a technical textiles hub.
