The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) on January 17, 2025, issued a notification regarding the fixation of Ceiling Prices for Scheduled formulations-Nicotine (for nicotine replacement therapy) mouth dissolving strips, tablets, and oral inhalers having the strength of 2mg & 4mg.
The following has been stated: -
•Manufacturers/marketing companies of nicotine replacement therapy products (mouth dissolving strips, tablets, and oral inhalers) with 2mg and 4mg strengths are requested to submit their Price to Retailer (PTR) and Moving Annual Turnover (MAT) for October 2023 within 7 days.
•The data should cover sales from November 2022 to October 2023. This is in relation to the fixation of ceiling prices under the Revised Schedule I of DPCO, 2013.
