Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on January 21, 2025, issued a press release regarding the expansion of the high-bandwidth connectivity options for Commodity Derivatives trading.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has introduced higher bandwidth options for last-mile connectivity under its leased line offering for members trading Commodity Derivatives. This follows increased demand for bandwidth due to the expansion of Commodity Derivatives products on the exchange. The new bandwidth options, ranging from 50 Mbps to 300 Mbps, are available through Telecom Network Integrator (TNI), SIFY Technologies Limited, alongside existing options of 4 Mbps to 30 Mbps. These improvements will provide enhanced connectivity for the growing number of members participating in Commodity Derivatives trading.

With the introduction of higher bandwidth options, members participating in the Commodity Derivatives segment can now subscribe to the Multicast Tick by Tick (MTBT) market data broadcast on leased lines with bandwidths up to 300 Mbps, compared to the previous maximum of 20 Mbps. This upgrade enables faster and more efficient data transmission, enhancing market access for members.

A brief on leased line connectivity offering is available on Exchange website under link Types of connectivity.
