The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW) on January 20, 2025, notified regarding the digital transformation of the Healthcare Landscape.
The following has been stated namely: -
• India's healthcare system is rapidly transforming with digital solutions like telemedicine, EHRs, and AI to improve accessibility and efficiency.
• A World Economic Forum report highlights India's potential as a global leader in digital health through initiatives like ABDM and DHIS, emphasizing public-private partnerships and robust data governance.
• The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) aims to build a nationwide digital health ecosystem with unique health IDs, digital registries, and initiatives like ABHA, DHIS, and AI-driven solutions to enhance healthcare accessibility and efficiency.
